Dear Friends,

I am pleased to endorse “Fresh Expressions Canada”.  It is an initiative in keeping with our Church’s vision of “growing in membership, faith and service in God’s world”.

It is a creative style of evangelism, drawing people into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  It will speak to many who are looking for a fresh expression of our life together in Christ.  It represents an imaginative approach to strengthening the witness of a local Christian community.

I encourage you to learn more about this initiative by exploring the newly formed website.

With prayers for blessings on this venture in the service of the Gospel, I am

Sincerely in Christ,

Fred J. Hiltz
Archbishop and Primate

I am always amazed that central Canada has not even given the west coast region any press on the new ways this area is growing in fresh expressions by action not meetings and discussions. ST PETER AND PAUL here in Esquimalt and ST LUKES in Victoria are making stong in roads to get this wonderful mission ministry into actions like Messy Church and Cafe Church..Can some one give us the press and time to see what we are doing, not that we expect Ontario to cme this far west to met us.

I am strongly supportive of the program and have been doing street level drive by waving to traffic as they depart from work, and our resposnes are showign good returns as people are now noticing the church more each time.

You cad contact me for pictures and a brief story of what this has done to unite a community after the change of church realignment to become the “HUB” church of a new parish role in Anglican ministry.
